Aliaksandr Zvantsou

I participate in various projects related to employment and corporate law, including matters concerning incorporation, reorganisation, and liquidation of legal entities. I assist colleagues in Real Estate and Construction practice group. Additionally, my interests extend to matters of antimonopoly regulation, with particular attention given to intellectual property law.

I strive for continuous professional development and the accumulation of experience in various areas of law, so my work is not limited to specific practices. The experience I have gained enables me to flexibly approach problem-solving.

Professional highlights

Corporate and M&A. As a member of the corporate practice, I assist colleagues with all matters related to the functioning of legal entities, as well as registration and termination of branches representative offices of foreign companies. I participate in M&A transactions, from conducting complex legal due diligence to obtaining approvals from antimonopoly authority.

Intellectual Property. I work with trademark registration along with identifying and combatting violations related to the unlawful use of intellectual property. Apart from my work, I actively participate in legal competitions, including Game Industry Legal Challenge (a specialised moot court focusing exclusively on legal issues in the video game industry).

• Participating in projects related to the protection of intellectual property rights of an American company providing licenses for fitness programs, assisting with identifying potential violations in Belarus.
• Involvement in supporting a deal for the acquisition of assets and the corresponding portion of a business in the SEO industry, including carrying out complex legal due diligence, and preparing various documents.
• Contributing to preparing a legal opinion for a major construction company regarding specific aspects of its operations, involving antitrust regulations, supplier and contractor selection rules, and certain financial law matters.
• Contributing to a legal opinion for a car dealer in Belarus on issues related to sanctions regulations.
• Contributing to the preparation of an annual questionnaire for the International Trademark Association (INTA).
• Writing articles on unfair competition for WTR Daily.
• Updating information on personal data for One Trust Overview.
• Participating in preparation of a review on the specifics of judicial proceedings in the pharmaceutical industry.
